As a former partner with a major inter-provincial law firm, Kim has been involved in many large and small business and financing transactions including large real estate development projects. In the course of these dealings Kim has worked closely with other lawyers, accountants and professional advisors across Canada on a range of projects in providing a range of legal services including contract drafting, tax and securities. Kim acts as director and is founding shareholder of several private companies and acts as director of one public company. Kim was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1982 and to the B.C. Bar in 1984.
 
Kim works with many real estate developers on taking a project from start to finish and helps companies raise equity through prospectus and registration exemptions, such as offering memoranda and crowd funding. Kim was formerly a tax partner with a major regional firm and works closely with accountants and other financial advisors when structuring transactions and drafting documents to implement tax considerations.
